Your Rural Fire Partners

The Fayetteville Community Volunteer Fire Company — commonly referred to as the Mascoutah Rural Fire Department — has been protecting the rural areas surrounding Mascoutah for more than 60 years. Their dedicated volunteer firefighters cover the Mascoutah Rural Fire Protection District, providing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency response across a broad rural service area in St. Clair County.

FCVFC operates as part of MABAS Division 32 and runs mutual aid with Mascoutah Fire Department, neighboring departments, and regional partners. When a major incident happens in the district, chances are you'll see engines from both Mascoutah FD and FCVFC on scene working together.

Like every rural volunteer department, they rely on community support and a small but committed roster of volunteers who answer the tones day and night. Please consider following them on Facebook and supporting their fundraisers throughout the year.
